Overview
In this class, students of all experience levels will learn how to throw clay on the wheel. This is a judgement free environment where everyone is welcome to learn in a calming and encouraging studio. You'll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in an environment where creativity, curiosity, and personal growth are encouraged. Students will be able to glaze and fire their pieces, resulting in a completed piece of pottery. With step by step guidance, students will learn the techniques of centering, shaping, and forming clay on the wheel.
Who It’s For
Open to beginners as well as returning students who want to strengthen their throwing practice.
Materials
Tuition includes:
• Studio tools and equipment
• Glazes and firings
• 12.5 lb clay
Additional clay and tool kits available for purchase.
Limited to 4 participants
