Sterling City Studio is active year-round, offering multi-week courses and weekend workshops that support hands-on exploration across printmaking, drawing, design, ceramics, working with natural-made materials, and painting. Programming is small-scale and practice-centered, with an emphasis on learning, making, and community.
The studio is active by scheduled workshops, appointments, and residency sessions.

Open Studio
Students enrolled in multi-session workshops receive access to two Open Studio sessions per week for the duration of their course term.
Additional 4-hour Open Studio sessions may be reserved for $25 each on the workshop page.
Open Studio is intended for independent work within a shared studio environment. Participants are expected to:
Work within their demonstrated skill level
Follow all studio safety guidelines
Clean and reset their workspace before departure
Respect shared materials and equipment.
Instruction is not provided during Open Studio hours.

Access outside of scheduled workshops is available only during these hours and by advance sign-up.
